Hello, I was wondering if there is any way to tell if a turbo that has sat for at least 6 months will still be good. What I mean is, would the seals dried up in this time cause it to leak oil? Just wondering what people's thoughts are on the subject.

I don't believe they use seals that can dry up.

6 months is nothing.

The best way to store them is to close off all the open holes in them to keep critters out and the wheels from getting damaged inadvertently.

6 years storage probably wouldn't be a problem.
