85 hot air with 87 ECM conversion. I'm running TLink 2.13... I'm was still trying to nail down final problems with the car today when a new one showed up. TLink was showing 18 - 19 volts!!! I got the car to the driveway and took out the multi-meter. Alternator lug to ground was 14.5 at idle. I ran up the motor and the readings stayed within the normal range, but TLink was still showing high readings!
I just changed over to a Powermaster 140 amp alternator.
Also, I'm getting intermittent readings on the manifold temp. At times they are correct, at other times I read -58 degrees. I'm running Casper's hot-air MAT sensor and wiring. The pin at the ECM seems good. I only have less than 200 miles on the sensor, but it has idled quite a bit and sat for quite a time. I believe I installed this sensor 3 or 4 years ago. This car was in the garage for years waiting for a fresh motor.
Any ideas?
