i noticed some oil around the turbo and intake more like under the turbo i dont mean like a big leak or anything that bad but then again any oil around that is bad i guess where can this oil be comin out from ?

could be from the grommet in the intake for the oil return line from the turbo, mine is wet around that area

I would guess that it is either the turbo oil drain line or the rubber gromlet. I recently had problems with both. Thanks- Brad-85GN

gromlet? not to familiar wit that ? where can i get this gromlet thig at so i can change it or wat did u do brad to fix that problem

The oil drain line and rubber gromlet(inserts into intake manifold and the oil drain line goes into it) can be bought at Poston Enterprises. They have a websit as well.

You must remove the turbo in order to replace these items. Make sure you have new gaskets for the turbo as well. Brad

thanx brad for the info yea im gonna hit up poston i have thier catalog is this an ez job to do

I have never pulled off the turbo myself. My mechanic has done this alot(replaced turbo 4 times last year)and it usually took around 3 hours. Brad

3 to 4 hours sounds about right, I had to replace one of the O-rings on my turbo a couple of weeks ago and it took me about 4 hours, I did really take my time on it though so I could have gone faster but I wanted to be really careful
