At a point in my build where I am not sure what direction to go. This year I upgraded my heads to champion
irons but I didn't gain any mph over the stock heads in the quarter.
With the stock heads and te44 it trapped at 116 @ 25psi and with ported heads it trapped 116 @ 22psi but when turning up the boost to 25psi it netted no change in mph.
I am assuming I need a bigger turbo to gain the benifits of the ported heads. Is there a turbo out that will do this without upgrading everything?
If i go to a 6262 I will need a turbo/ converter/intercooler/injector upgrade which will be approx $3500.
Do I just leave it and be satisfied or is there a performance step between the two?

You really need a converter other than a 12" to get the most out of anything with larger than a stage 3 turbine. Spool is lazy with a 12". My advise is to go with a volume 60-1 billet and keep the small turbine and when you do a converter get a larger turbine and rebalance. The 60-1 replacement I offer works great with heads cam and converter. It works well with stock heads and 12" converter when run with a stage 3 turbine and Garrett .63 housing. It really needs more turbine than a stage 3 to really work to it's potential. this wheel will make over 30psi on an unopened engine easily if needed. I've also got a pressure wheel that will work a little better over 30psi if you planned on using e85 or 116 octane.

Here it is:

So this wheel replaces the current wheel in my te44 and should net more volume @25psi than my current stock wheel?
Would I need to send this out to you for replacement or is it something I can throw on the work bench?
Also what mph pickup would you predict? I will prob try and upgrade to a 9.5 nlu
