turbo or downpipe?

Which would you choose as your next upgrade for a stock '86 GN with 42# injectors, chip, power plate, 3" single shot exhaust with gutted cat, and cold air kit? TA49 or 3" Houston downpipe?

Here's a thought. What about a duttweiler I/C mod? The money says the D-I /C and the THDP is about equal to the TA-49. Put that in your pipe and smoke it!

i agree with basherbob get the dutt. ic and the DP then when you got alittle more cheese, get the 44 over the 49 or even a gt series..

More like 1/2 of .1 second at 26 psi of boost.

Not too many people running 11.03's with a TE44's, a stock motor and Bluetops (since I ran 11.53 with those and a TA49)

There is a mease super stock IC on ebay it's at $150. It's a stock IC with a 3" neck and he also has a adjustable shroud for a stock IC on ebay.
