Two of the bolts snapped on the hot side, the turbine looks to be in perfect condition, is there supposed to be a gasket in between the wastegate and the turbine housing? There was none when i removed the wastegate, i'm having a local shop drill and tap new holes for the bolts, and replaceing the studs where the up pipe connects. I also have an adjustable wastegate solenoid that will be replaceing the original. And where can i find the o ring for the compressor housing?

No gasket but you can get one for it if you want. Gpop shop has the parts if you need any. Do a search on the net and you can get the contact info.

It's a Garret T3 design. If you tell gpop or precision that it's for an 84 GN they shoud be able to pull the parts for you easily.

Right on, it goes to the poeder coater on friday so i should have it back monday or tuesday, with new seals, and a new drivers header hopefully the buick will take my mustang XD
I also have a set of 86/87 heads, if i milled ported and polished the heads would they work on the 84 engine? Also ive seen two sets of intake gaskets, what is the difference betweer the gaskets with a valley pan and the ones without?

It's shiny

What about a bigger cam shaft? How would you go about getting a different cam? And if any, noticable performance changes?

A cam will help performance but you need to tune for it. The more you modify the car the more issues you will have with it. Just remember KISS. Keep it simple stupid. It makes things so much easier in the end.

Thats further down the line when the engine actually blows up, it has 62,000 actual, almost orig everything, near mint condition

Leave alone for now until it blows up then. Have fun and enjoy it for now and do some research about what you want to do with it. I would replace the body bushings as a start and then go from there.

Get one from a vendor on here if you want to to live. There are some really good builderson here that can help you figure out what you need.
