turbo rebuild/upgrade

my te44 seem to have eaten my mas screen.carnage on compressor wheel.can i have pte upgrade to a 61-62 wheel.and whats the cost to upgrade.thanks.

I would go to a BB turbo ......but thats just me.....

Your TE44 utilizes the T-31 turbine wheel. They should be able to upgrade your turbo to a 6157 and depending on the condition of your bearing housing, turbine wheel and turbine housing, should be able to be done.

You would be paying for a new compressor wheel, compressor cover, backing plate, clamps, bolts, o-ring, internal bearing housing components and the labor if the rest of your parts were reusable. They would definitely need to do a tear down inspection to see what you have to work with first tho.

But the answer is yes, they should be able to upgrade your turbo.

how much stall are you running? I have a pats 2800 and wanted to go 6157 but they said it needed a little more stall so I had them turn it to a te60.

I got a 3200 stall. billet 9"l/u convertor from ck performance. it,s a pro torque unit. chris is a great guy to with.alot of guys are running.PTC units from dusty another great guy to deal with.
