Anyone have any referrals/recommendations to rebuild and/or go through an old turbo or two?

Thanks guys. I emailed them, and Reed responded in an hour. Super nice guy. I appreciate the referral!

How well-versed is Works with older draw-through turbos from the carb T-Types? I have an '83 231 and the turbo has some play, but should be okay to be overhauled. I can't find many places that will work with such an old design.

(231 turbo from a Regal, I found out the Rivieras were different.)

Call Reed directly [205.874.6608] and I'm sure he can answer your question and give you a price and / or advise.

The problem is the parts
Most manufacturers are phasing out old obsolete wheels seals and shafts.
They are tooling up for the newer designs.
When you start factoring in labor these rebuilt units aren't that much cheaper than a new journal bearing unit
