Does anyone have any pics of a Turbo Saver / Oil Filter Relocation installed? And where do I get one from? I just spent over $1K on a turbo upgrade and dont feel like installing it without some sort of insurance. I have read over and over about people saying to install a turbo saver but cant find who makes the kit. And is a turbo saver and oil filter relocator (like the one on Full Throttle ) the same thing? Also does the turbo saver use its own filter so the car now has 2 oil filters? Someone please explain. Thanks again!

No only one filter that you have mounted behind the pas. headlamp.
there's a adapter thats installed where the oil filter is screwed into. two lines one, inlet one outlet run to the new location and from there a line is run into the turbo.
if no one else responds than i'll send pics.

Try PTE (Performance Turbo Engineering). Many Turbo Buick vendors middle man the product including SE Turbo where I bought mine.

So anyone have any pics of an installed one? Any links I could look at to see prices? And what do people recommend? Thanks!

Oil filter reloc/direct turbo supply

Not to step on anyones toes...........but
I ordered a dual remote oil filter kit from Summit, bought a 18" (I think) piece of 1/4 " brake line, and made my own. I drilled/tapped the dual filter assy, and mounted it on my turbo shield. Bent the line, cut and reflared the end. I have a pic or two, but I don't think I have at work.

Email: j1lnesbitt@earthlink.net and I'll send you some pics.

hope this helps,
JN

I still havent been able to see any pics of one and the only sight I know that carries it is FT. Anyone have some links or can post some pics? Is the one from FT all I need to protect my turbo? Thanks!
