what would be the biggest and best turbo upgrade to run when using 36Lb bluetop injectors? i guess i wanna know how big a turbo i can go without changing injectors. thanks

TA49, TE44 or GT3255 would be as large as i would go. These turbo's will work great with your mods & should put you in the high 11's on race fuel.

thanks for the reply. my turbo (stock) has about 115,000 miles on it (still performs well) just do not no how long it will last.

Are you stuck on the 36lb injectors? For no more than it cost to replace injectors I would not let that stop me from purchasing the turbo I wanted. By the way, what boost levels are you wanting to run? If you are only going to run stock boost levels then your injectors are no problem.

not really stuck on 36s, got them @ a good price from a friend. i need to address other things with my car B-4 i start adding any serious power. main thing would be the transmission and TC. If i start adding power, its probably gonna go right out the tranny.

The advice I would give is know where you are going with the car. Do you want a turbo that you are going to grow out of or grow into. Most turbos are relatively in the same price range and unless you want to purchase a new one every year or two I would take this into consideration. I have been down the road you are going and had to replace a tranny as well. If you go with a larger turbo just keep it at factory boost levels until you can get other things taken care of first. This way you do not keep going backwards replacing things already purchased. I wanted a very conservative 12 second street car and a 11 second track car and I do it easily with my set up (see sig). I hope this helps with your decision. Good luck!

i understand what you are saying, i wanna have an easy 12 or mid 12 sec car, but i need to do so many things @ not enough money to do them all any time soon. my car is 100% stock, except for mods in my sig. I just got DS a month ago (well worth the $). i did not want to do any other mods B-4 i purchased the DS, now i have a way to monitor and tune. other things keep coming up like brake light flashes when i 1st hit brake pedal (acc ball or pressure switch, do not no which yet) brake issues are another story, i may switch to vacc, but not sure. seems like if its not one thing its another. i do understand these cars are getting (ooooold) i need to get the car in good mechanical condition B-4 i start adding power to it i suppose.
