Maybe a dumb question but here it is
In the process of rebuilding my engine and pulled the turbo
i just got the turbo this past summer when i got it is supposidly rebuilt 500 miles before i got it and i have since put about 1000 miles on it
my question is how hard should the blades turn the reson for this is my old turbo i could spin with my fingers and it would continue to spin for a couple of seconds but this turbo when i spin it with my fingers it fells tight and will not continue to spin there is no free play in or out and very little up and down. it doesnt seem to be leaking (no bad seals) but just seems to be to hard to spin by hand.
Thanks
Mike

Mike- I checked my spare stock turbo which is a Limit Engineering with only 5,000 miles on it. There is no free spin at all. You have to push the compressor. You should be fine. Brad

Thinking about sending it out and gettin it turned into a ta-33 just wondering how much it will cost?

Ouch thats pretty expensive for a Hot Air turbo
is that the price for a new turbo or redoing mine to 33 specs
Mike

That means you send them your old turbo and they rebuild it into a TA33C. It is expensive but you do get what you pay for. Brad
