generally a single in-tank pump can only supply enough fuel for 60's

I have a turbotweak chip in my T-Type, will probably put one in the GN. What does everyone use, a 91 octane? And, if you put in the 60 # injectors, do you have to do any rewiring, install a new harness or any other mods to make them work?

With 80's would I start running out of fuel pump? I just installed a walbro..
I'm hardly an expert at that power level but I read post where Eric mentioned the limit with 80's and a single Walbro 340 is mid/high 10's on race fuel, FWIW.

Honestly I will only go to the track once or twice a year. I think the 60's will be enough. At least for awhile!

Tt chip and 60lb ibjectors were the first thing I did on my gn when I got it. The turbo was shot so it needed replacing so might as well go up in injectors. Same goes for you. You will change the turbo sooner or later. Buying the injectors laters, new, will cost more than getting in a chip combo set. Cost effective to do it now

I too still having a stock motor I installed Full Throttle Commander chips with 60# injectors
idle's great, runs great and my A/F gauges shows no lean conditions, providing all of the other tuning are adjusted correctly.

But then you run into fuel pump problems? I only have a walbro in tank.
Thats not an issue because unless you are running a huge turbo you wont have fueling issue. Problem does arise when you change turbo and it flows more. Then your fuel pump wont be able to keep up.

So buy the 80's, for the same price as the 60's, and upgrade the fuel pump when you get to that bigger turbo! (and converter, and tranny...etc!)

Ended up going with Eric's chip and 42lb injectors. Car runs better than ever. Turbo Tweak is the shit.

Just curious... since you were buying a chip and injectors, why did you go with 42s instead of 60s?

I plan on running the stock turbo for a while and then when I do upgrade I'm not going with a real big turbo so 42 work for me. I think the 60 would have been over kill.

I think you made a good choice. I'm in the process of converting my 87' back to pretty much stock with a few exceptions. I pulled the 60's and matching TT chip and replaced them with 42.5's with matching TT chip and noticed my driveability was a bit improved. It has better throttle response and seems to pull better at low throttle angles. Put 60's in when your mods require them. JMHO

Is there a website to order the TT Chip & Injector Combo? Or is it best to contact Eric directly? If so, how would I go about that? I will be ordering soon myself.

Yes TurboTweak is the web site to order it from , Eric will set you up and it will work
