87 Turbo Regal limited w/HHO injection. Stock Turbo temporary falilure when degraded vaccuum hose came loose. This is the vaccuum hose from the solenoid or connector which splits off into 2 hoses located off of solenoid connector. Could the boost go from 15 to over 20 lbs boost from this occurrence? Another subject regarding the turbo solenoid connector that has the vaccum hose I spoke about going to the turbo has two ports and one of them is left open is this an issue?
Thanks for your replies.

First...

I'm not familiar w/the HHO, but if you are referring to the w/g solenoid, that has a sponge filter on one side. It vents the pressure from the turbo. thru a "Y" hose connector w/one of the ends of the connector slightly restricted.
It sounds like the w/g solenoid didn't open, and you overboosted, blowing the hoses off. need a new w/g solenoid.

Thank you for your reply. I understand the y-hose connection and now will look to find the w/g solenoid. Can you give me any more assistance on finding it and replacing it? As I explained earlier my mechanic replaced one of the y hoses. I am getting my normal 15 psi boost however when the hose was cracked it achieved over 20lbs boost. Is this delivering real boost pressure or a false reading on boost gage.
