1) First remove the turbo by: disconnect from J-bracket, actuator arm to puck, 3 exhaust header to turbo bolts, inlet tube, and outlet to IC, and oil feed on top, and oil drain on bottom, and the DP. It can be done without removing the entire turbo, but can be tricky getting the exhaust housing off without hurting a turbine blade. I've done it by removing the 3 studs that bolt the turbo to exhaust manifold, then using something to lightly pry up on the turbo after loosinging the J-bracket, giving just enough clearence to slide the exhaust housing off after doing step#2 below.
2) Once turbo is removed, there should be anywhere from 4 to 6 bolts that hold the exhaust housing to the center section of the turbo, depending on the type of turbo it is. It would be best to heat these up and let sit with oil/WD40 or something on them as they can easily break off. In fact, it is a good idea to run the car for a bit to get everything hot and then at least break these bolts loose as well as the DP and exhaust header to turbo bolts while hot.
3) Once the exhaust housing to center section bolts are out, the exhaust housing should be able to rotate around, if so, then lift the housing straight off, being very careful not to hit/nick any blades hard enough to bend them.
