I want to upgrade my turbo, I looked into the CAS Project X and like it, but I don't know if I'll have any problems. I was also thinking of just getting a 70 series BB. Tony at CAS told me that my 50lb inj. and a 3500 stall would be ok for the twin turbo. What size inj. and stall would I need for a big BB? What are the advantages and disadvantages of both?

how fast do you want to go?

The advantage of a single turbo over project X is.....you can get a single turbo sometime in your lifetime

I've heard that Tony takes forever. How fast do I want to go? As fast as I possibly can, maybe somewhere in the low 10's hi 9's. I know that's asking a lot. Also, wouldn't getting a single be cheaper?

Thanks a lot guys. I think now I'll get the single. I have the stock block, ported stock heads, V2, etc. How much will a 70 series BB with all the good stuff cost, what size inj. would I need and size of the stall? Thanks again.

Tony gets right around $1,850.00 for a Qtrim BB 70. I would go with the P-trim wheel and save afew $BUCKS$. IMO, your 50's are only good for high tens if that.. Get a set of 72,or 83's and a Twin in tank pump,or a External then if you have a few buck's left go with a Fast Bank to Bank;) Your looking right at $4,500+ then it will be time to put a girdle on that badboy:D I have never ran a BB turbo, but I have heard a A/C 3200 is enough converter for a 70..
Good luck,
Matt:cool:

"Tweaked ran 7.75 or thereabouts with a single turbo:eek:"

Jim D' Alessandro ran 7.61 @179mph with a big ass ferris wheel turbo which I believe is the fastest for a single turbo TR!!!:D

Thanks guys. I'm gonna shoot on over to Tony's to talk to him this week.
