Ok it's not the whole car but they're using a front cover to show how to repair broken bolts. I guess that counts right?

I was told directly from Rick Bacon (back when he was on the show) that he's tried to get a TR on Musclecar and the producers said "NO"...anything with a V6 isn't considered a "Muscle Car"...so we are stuck with mustangs and camaros.

In a sense they're right. However I think the LC2 should be considered an exception.

get one of the companies that produces parts for these cars to shovel a bunch of money their way to get them to bolt on a bunch of their parts on tv, and they'll change their tune and call it whatever the company wants them to call it..

That's the problem...their 20 something producer drives a worthless 4 banger, green lovin' POS, and has a coloring book about Muscle Cars. We didn't make the cut because our car needs more then one black crayon to finish the picture. Someone drive their GN down there and give the little turd a wedgie!!!

I agree...it was brought up as a joke cuz at the time I needed help with my GN and that's when he said what he said. At that point I asked then why is there a GN printed on their DVD's (it's in their commercial)..he just said they look the part, but the V6 is the problem for the producers...piss too many V8 guys off I guess. Rick loves GNs and said he had tried for years to get one on...but yet they'll work on that nappy Buick Riveria or whatever it was.

Frankly I don't care if they don't have one. They'd probably just put a crate engine in it from Summit racing or one of their other sponsors.

I did have a kid on the local forum tell me "That Factory Freak Buick is No muscle car"

Clue us in on that thread . Though I'm sure you already set him straight.

That's a shame. Oh we'll... I bet a majority of cars on this forum would spank the cars they've built on Powerblock anyway.

Horse power is one of my favorite Sunday shows. I don't really care for the rest anymore. Just damn

at the very least they'd find excuses to spray WD40 all over it, then wipe it off with Scott's paper towels...

by definition it is not a muscle car Detroit in the early 60s and before wouldnt put an engine in higher CU IN the the weight ratio of the car by 10%
Until the 64 GTO with had a 389 on a 3425 weight. That was the beginning of Muscle cars .A full bodied car with a larger than 10%Weight to Cubic inch
ratio.our cars would have to weigh 2200 lbs.Buick used the Skylark, Olds used the Cutlass. Chevy used the Malibu
Also Pony cars are pony cars not muscle cars...Just sayin
