I just received Turbolink 4.0 from a fellow member and have some questions I hope someone here can help me out with. It has the boost sensor with it and the wiring harness for under the hood. No directions as far as where to hook everything up just the parts and a disk. I looked on the disk and website for a diagram of what to unplug and plug on the wiring harness but found no help. I didn't find any help. Maybe I looked in the wrong place.
Anyway I had 1 hour of nice weather yesterday so I went out and popped the hood. I unplugged the hose off of my boost sensor and plugged it onto the one that came with the t-link, I found the plug on the t link harness that matched the boost sensor and plugged it to the t link boost sensor. I left the cars wiring harness plugged to the cars boost sensor even though no hose was connected to it anymore.I then went to the sensor with the little gray plug (forgive me I cannot remember what that sensor is called) and unplugged the cars wire from the sensor and plugged it into the tlink harness (so now that sensor is not even plugged in) Now there are two other plugs on the harness that I couldnt find anything to plug them to so I just plugged them together. I dont think thats right but I had little time. I hooked the computer up to the car and the car was communicating with the computer.
It said it was in open loop, and I could see all of my values. I did not however see boost. And my speed was off while i was driving. When I was going 55 MPH it was showing 35 on the screen. The only thing I can figure on that was I just put 145 MPH speedo kit on with the reducer. As far as my values ) 02 etc I have no idea what I should be running at. It is running rich 98% of the time . So many questions here!!!!
I need help with the wiring harness, why no boost showing, my speed being off, and values to shoot for.
I would greatly appreciate it!!!!

I found the wiring directions. This should help! Ill try it again on a sunny warm day.

Im still wondering about my speed was off though. Isn't that sensed through the under dash connector?
 
Yes I did but after finding and reading the directions I did that wrong. First of all come to find out after reading the directions I didn't get the T and connector hose with the kit. I was under the assumption that everything was there when I received the kit and not knowing where the install direction were and being short on time due to the crappy weather I just plugged the T-Link wiring harness into the MAP sensor supplied with the T Link and just disconnected the hose from my exsiting sensor on the car and plugged it into the T Link MAP sensor. That is the only thing I did there. I even left the cars wiring harness plugged into the cars MAP sensor.
I am going to Atlanta for a few days and later next week IF the weather improves I will hook it up properly and see what happens. I will get a T and connector hose also.
I am still wondering why my speed was so far off though.:confused:Thanks for the reply!
