Theres a few guys . Check the timeslip forum I believe someone ran one somewhat recently .Which size are you looking into . 650 or 850

I run the 850. there are some here who do not care for Turbonetics. I am part of the small minority who like them. I have had a Turbonetics on my car since 1995.

Do you have any pictures of your engine bay you could share I wanna see how your setup looks, with the GT-K series and your intake setup. What would be the best maf sensor to run?

Ive been leaning toward the gt-k 650....im just tryna run a 10.99 someday so would the 650 be too big a turbo if switching from the stock turbo? Im researching for the future...because I would think A 650 is too much turbo for a near stock gn right now what do you think?

Without supporting mods, yes thats a very large turbo. If slapped on to a mostly stock gn it will turn the car into a turd. Its a 66mm compressor with a 65 mm turbine . Do you have the basics to start? scanmaster , wideband , alky or good fuel ? Heads , cam ,bottom ends shape ? and a good converter (3-3200stall and something that will couple up top )would be needed to take advantage of this turbo . When your up to par it will take car of your 10.99 goal and then some :)

Heres a turbonetics 66 strim with a 4in. maf pipe and a stock maf .

Im loving that up pipe, is that a custom piece or is there a shop you can order it from? No the Gn is pretty much stock...I live in CA so 91 octane is what im working with here...I heard theres a few 76 gas sations with 100 octane but there all far from me. The mods I am leaning toward first are a Boost and knock gauge and a boost controler, then a scanmaster. Afterward I wanted to do a cold air intake setup with a ls1 maf sensor and then a alcohol injection. The one thing im not sure about is if theres an attachment for a 3.5 inch maf pipe that would fit the inlet on the stock turbo.....

Nope its not a gtk . Same compressor as a gtk650 though . The turbine is larger 68mm (strim) vs the gtk's ptrim 65 turbine .

Yeah thats what it looked like but the ouer housing didnt look grey...thats a beautiful setup you got going there.

Is your up pipe custom and is theres an attachment for a 3.5 inch maf pipe that would fit the inlet on the stock turbo?

Pte pipe cut a small section out of it . The inlet bell on the stock turbo is smaller then 3.5 you would have to get a transition coupler . Rjc has them

You could get an older T-66 BB w/ F1 wheel and Tnetics .63. They are a great choice for the $$$ when you start modding your car. First, of course you need a scantool, downpipe, fuel pump & hotwire, ported irons, cam, alky, converter and the list continues.lol

You can get a brand new T-66 for $1150 w/ BB & Tnetics .63 from the right vendor. You shouldn't need to spend the xtra $$$ on the GT-K series. Tnetics includes a great 1 year warranty.
