i have an external wastegate, just want to know how much boost can i run with the deltagate mark2? is there a limit to the amount of boost the deltagate can handle. if so what's the limit, how much boost. some say that with an external wastegate there's a spike in boost, if you push it to hard. please let me know what you think. :biggrin:

I have a Tial 38mm gate that was a direct bolt in to my ATR external downpipe. I have no spiking issues at all like I did with 3 different Houston style pipes. I launched at around 10#s at the track and looked at the datalog and it didn't go above the spring pressure.
As far as amount of boost, I got a 14# spring in it, and my vendor/engine guy said I shouldn't have any problems seeing 30#'s.
