It still seemed to be working fine - cable is free and everything - but I was concerned about it snapping or something. So I installed the new one and followed the EA TV Cable setting procedures with the pan off - measuring the TV plunger at idle and WOT. What I noticed is there seems to be more play in the adjustment mechanism than in the stock cable. This play makes it hard to obtain the .840" idle and full TV at WOT. Anybody else notice this? Thinking perhaps should stick with the OEM cable. It just seems more free, and tighter...
