TV cable limiting throttle?

I've noticed that at full throw, the TV cable is what limits the movement of the throttle blade...disconnect the TV cable, full movement.
I've noticed this on every TR I've worked on....Any solutions?

Are you sure the TV cable is the right one for the car? One that has a short inner cable would cause the problem you describe.
I had a similar problem and was able to move my TV bracket forward to fix it, but I have a carburetor.

yep, original cable...
I'm thinking of changing the orientation a little to see if that helps (similar to what you did).
hopefully, someone has solved this.
