Does anyone have the link or diections at GNTType.xxx to change my TV cable spring. I was told you have to drop the pan and remove a 10mm nut. It would be nice to have exact instructions.

It's really kind of self explanatory when you pull the pan. There is a single 10mm bolt in the right front corner of the valvebody that holds the assembly in. Just remove the bolt and the assembly will drop. Disconnect the actuator rod from the assembly and remove the assembly. To change the spring you will have to drive the roll pin out and put the new spring in. Then just reassemble in the reverse order.

I would agree with above post. I just changed my valve body this past weekend and had to reassemble the thing after it sprung out and fell to the garage floor in several pieces when I removed the bolt that held it all in. I have the GM service manuals on the car that shows this part instlled in place. It is really self explanitory once you drop the pan and see how it is assembled. I put it back together with only a poor illustration located in those manuals.

Thank you both!!! Draining the fluid and pulling the pan was the hardest part:biggrin:
