TV Cable

I recently modded my car to house an intercooler, which required a new throttle body and such. I tried to find a method for setting the TV cable, and only found one on gnttype.org , which explains how to take it back to stock settings. Problem is, when I tried that method, it flat out just didnt work for me....my TV cable does not "click" when you move it back and forth. I noticed there are rings that you can count, can someone that has their cable at stock setting tel me how many rings they count? Or does anyone have another mthod for setting the TV cable to stock?

Hold the throttle wide open, push the lock to release it & pull the cable body back towards the firewall & release the lock. The cable should be tight @ WOT.
