does anyone watch powerblocktv? why doesnt people email horespower tv to see if they will build a 231 v6? If they get enought emails maby they will build a 231. tell me what everyone thinks.

they will show unique glimpses of cars but will never do anything that would be that hard. Lou might try it but I still think he would have to look very carfully before he attempted it.

I don't think I'd want them to do a 231 build anyway...they really wouldn't know where to start. Unless they get with somebody like Weber or DLS to show them what to do. On top of that they won't do it because none of their sponsors carry any Buick parts for them to use on their show.

How often do you see a pontiac motor on there? Or a pontiac in general for that matter. They won't even build an LS1 FOR a trans am:rolleyes: If they were going to do something I would think they would do a buildup on a supercharged buick powered car. Hell they won't even touch that. Just like LT1 motors, never remember seeing one. I remember they did a honda once;) Hell we have aluminum blocks, different plenums and throttle bodies, different dp's, stroker kits, a gazillion turbos, alky kits, different bore blocks, different suspension options, the list goes on and on. No reason we shouldn't see them do a TR.

The show is totally biased. I usually have it on for background noise while I'm on the board. The last time I took interest in the show was when they built the 455 olds. You got a mustang fan and an fbody fan workin on the show. What are you gonna get out of it? Guys build GTPs that will walk a new mustang, LT1s that are running 11s with bolt ons, production block TRs that are running 8s. But 95% of the country knows that you can't be fast without an LS block or a late model mustang that just finally hit 300hp. My 93 T/A is rated at 285hp. I better put a CAI on that T/A so I can stay up with one of those 25k mustangs:biggrin:

I dont ever want to see them build one of our engines!

there idea of "correct" engine building is where all of those idiots get ideas on building engines.

I squarly blame them for the excessive use of RTV in the automotive world.

thousands of "cheeseburger" small blocks are the result of there magazine knowledge.

Honestly, after FNF had a buick in their movie ... I shat myself.

I hate the "public" being in on OUR secret ... it brings in too many idots, and too much attention IMO ---
