Twin Electric fans

Been doing a lot of research on this... and have seen several posts on getting the Ramchargers style dual fan set up from a Dodge Stratus o Intrepid.

Seen most of you use or recomend the one to be used, the 98-04 Intrepid style.

Now with car , its a Buick Regal with aBuick 455 in it, and Im using an 86 GN Radiator and 86 GN fan.

Went to other websites, Montecarloss.com, and they have used 93-97 Intrepid style fans , seem not to have any problems.

Have any of you ran thes 93-97 style?

The reason Im askimg I had an opprotunity to get one of those realitive inexspensive, and did.

Any issues?? Not good enuff?

Find out cfm of ram charger fans first. I know stock fan on high is about 1600 cfm. If those dual fans are less not worth it in my honest opinion. If stock fan cfm is higher jump it out to run on high when you want via switch. Are your twmps soaring now?

They should work fine. Make sure you use a properly rated relay. If I were you, since you have plenty of space without an intercooler, I would go with a Mark Viii fan and never look back.

Ive had some friends that had intrepid fans go bad,

i myself got me a LS1 vette dual electric fans work great. I modified them and they fit perfect

I just got the intrepid fans off ebay 90$ shipped but the ones I got is a 6 blade s style I think will flow more air and fit perfect after I cut the tabs off the side and I have caspers relay harness complete pug and play I used 98 and up

Mine also is the 6 blade came from e-bay.. $77 free shipping

However I notice on mine its 2 different fans, one is a dual speed, (has 3 wires red, blk , & green) the other is 2 wire just red n blk, ... OE part #4596212

Yes I just got a different style but I had the ram charger fan harness that plugged in to keep it plug and play witch has a 4 flat plug and the 97 and down had a 3 or 4 round pin plug Witch I ordered first and was wrong if u want a pic of mine installed send ur # if ya need and using a f body radiator

I just purchased the ramcharger dual fan setup but no wire harness yet as I'm not sure to buy the plug and play harness or just get an adapter plug?? I'm guessing plug and play would be better....

You'll want the hotwire relay harness kit. You don't want all that fan current being pulled through the stock wiring harness.

Was planning on doing that , have two 30 am relays and bun of 10 gauge red an black wire..... goingto tackelthat this eve..

Thanks turbodave that's what I figured but now im for sure gunna have to break down and find a harness
