Twin turbo vs. single

Does anybody have any feedback on how much harder it will be to spool two 60-1 P-trim turbos compared to ,lets say aQ-trim 76 or 88. The reason I am asking is that I just purchased a 270ci. stage 11 motor with stage 11 heads & ATR twin turbo headers & I like the headers but combining those heads with twin turbos might make it so I will need a very high stall. I have not selected a cam or what comp. ratio yet & I plan to use the car mostly on the street. I like the way these headers look & fit & if I find out the car won't be reasonable on the street I might Tee them together to use one large turbo.Any input would be great ,thanks

I think your chances of spooling twins will be better than a single. The twins have a plumbing advantage, and a downpipe/backpressure advantage. A pair of, say, TE-44s or TE-60s should give you enough power to run pretty easy 9s with a streetable converter.

Stay with the twins IMO. That is what I want eventually.

I have seen both work and fail.
If you want to get a big single to
spool a little more compression will
do the trick The single would need
more attention to the conveter specs.

I will let you know when I get my PT-88
going.
