engine knock
i was driving my car kind of hard the other night when i started to hear this knocking sound. the highest knock the scan master showed was 1.00. it sounds like its coming from down by the balancer (wich is new). i made sure it was still tight and took the belt of and started the motor. the sound was even louder. i took of the timing cover and everything looks ok. i drained the oil and found no metal in it. is it time for a rebuild?? it only has 80,000 miles
