I hope Royce wins,matt getting to big for his head. But Royce getting way way past his prime. Will he wear the gee?

Gracie is getting on up in age and Hughes is soooo strong. But, then again, Royce is used to fighting bigger, stronger people and he is the old master so you can't count him out.

Hopefully it's a good fight and not a Hughes walkover.

Regardless, it's the most exciting thing the UFC has offered up in awhile.

Royce will definately wear his gi. Its a Tool for Submissions.

I wouldnt count out Royce, hes a little too crazy for his own good. MAtt is really strong and younger. ill give this one to royce but it could go either way. its gonna be a good one.

Unfortunatly Matt will most lickley win, last time I saw Royce fight was in Pride about 2 years ago he lost to Yosida(sp). He took his gi off for that fight.
Since 2000- on his record in Pride is 1-1-1

If someone who gets these fight can put them on a DVD that would be great. Currently in Iraq and us that love this sport don't get to see it. Went to Liddell vs Couture 2 last year in Vegas before I left. A little present from the wife. Would pay for some of the PPV and the shipping if needed. The Gi is no longer allowed in the UFC, he's going to get his ass handed to him. Thanks

Yes not having the GI will take away some of Royce's technique on submissions for sure.

I would like to see Royce go out with a last hurrah win, but He has a handfull on his hands and I agree he is getting up their in age.

Always liked how calm Royce was in the ring.

Gotta given anyone credit for getting in the ring, very few realize how hard and exhausting this is.

All in all the Gracies have to get credit for this whole sport getting to what it is today.

I would love to see Royce win.
I am not sure why it is not a title fight though.
I know there are others that deserve a shot, but
Dana could have made this more special if this looked like
it was more for the pride than the money.

Go Royce! I like Matt also, but I would love to see Royce win a Championship Title in the UFC now that they have belts. Randy Couture will be LHW champ again next saturday night. UFC fan since day one in 1993.

I was very surprised to see Royce accept another UFC match. I read an interview with Royce a while back where he said he would not fight any timed matches. The interviewer asked him if he would fight in a 2 hour long match and he still said no. His rational was that he could wear anyone down over time. In a timed fight, he figures the other fighter knows the time will eventually run out and they will be able to hang on (kinda like swimming in the ocean knowing someone will be there in a couple of hours).

I would love to see Royce win again, but it is gonna be tough. If he was 10 years younger I think he would be the automatic favorite. Who knows, he has fought some guys that were plenty stronger than Matt. Anyone remember the two Dan Severn fights? Royce was (and hopefully still is) one tough cookie.

How long are the rounds going to be and how many? Looks like I'll be spending another $35

I have TiVo and I have a VCR, but the two are not connected. If nobody else steps up to tape it for you guys, I'll plug everything together and tape it myself.
