UMI Driveshaft Safety Loop

Has anyone run into a problem using there driveshaft safety loop where the loop is real close on one side(1/8" gap)? The loop has three of the four mounting holes slotted, so it won't slide over without slotting the fourth hole.

mine was fine when i first installed it, but after doing a tranny, somewhere something shifted around and now its over as far as it can go and still hits with a passenger, so i guess im gonna slot it.

I am going to look into slotting the 4th hole on the next batch to help out.
