Cat is off the car right now. I have it for when an emission test is due.

If the cat converter is still on there it could be clogged or breaking apart causing lack of spool and loss of hp.

My cat converter was making a rattling noise I took it off and found that the honeycomb was loose but I can't see why that would decrease spoolup or horspower?? But we are talking about a 3" ATR cat .....


Radtech, definitely use Nick if you are close. However a spring cleaning is probably in order, this will also get you familar with the car.
