up pipe on 301turbo

hi there, the stock up pipe is 1.75'' would going to a 2-2.25 be good or bad?

301t 8.5 compression, alky, te62 , 2.5 down pipe,

Doubt it would matter on yout v8, Increasing the up pipe diameter will add some volume and that is probably worse for spooling vs the flow potential gained by the bigger pipe. I'd say do and expect no changes in performance or at worse a bit of added turbo lag.

thanks WarWagon, performance would be good if it was possible, but if I had to make a new one just wondering how the operation would be.
