Update On The Guys Who Robbed Me

The guys who robbed me are from a small shop out of RI.They robbed me for $1100 dollars and they also robbed ups for the same amount.What happened was the sent me a box full of broken parts and a **** turbo and told me if i keep my mouth shut they will hook me up and give me a bigger turbo for free and a few other better parts also.To make a long story short they got paid by ups and me and then kept all the money.Now i am doing what Joe 1320 has told me and i am getting e-mails from them again.It's a miracle and maby i have a chance to get my money back.Oh yea i also put up post on a few DSM boards that read

HAVE YOU BEEN ROBBED BY DARKSIDE RACING OR JOE BROOKS

Joe brooks from dark side racing has robbed me and other people out there in this community.If you have been robbed by him or his company e-mail me @ jayd0000000@yahoo.com for more details.I will help you get your money back.

If anyone here knows of any other DSM boards i can post on please let me know.

Amazing how that gets their attention. Don't budge an inch, go after them as if this were all out warfare on terrorism. Take a hard line stance, follow the instructions closely, you'll have them crapping cinderblocks and sending you a refund. Don't forget to make ups fully aware.

I have got e-mail from about a dozen people so far and counting.He gets around the net to all of the DSM forums

I don't know the full story but from you're saying it sounds like he's committing multiple felonies. Since it's crossing state lines via comptuer and if his fraud is over a certain amount the US Secret Service will take the case. Start with making a formal complaint with the local police dept. that has jurisdiction (where the fraud initially took place) and go from there.

Actually, it doesn't sound like his actions constitute fraud but perhaps a victim of extortion.

and thats when you should have contacted the ups and the better business bureau.

FYI, the BBB has no enforcement authority. All they are is an advisement agency so others won't make the same mistake 2x...that's it.
