Ordering 60# injectors and TT chip. Was leaning toward a Walbro pump but saw there have been issues. Are they safe now or should I go w/ Bosch or Denso? The searches have kinda gone in all directions. Need feedback!

I replaced my 9 year old Modern Muscle GSS340M Walbro in October 2008 with the same exact one from Racetroix. This company still machines the 340M Mustang pump to fit our TR's. It is not the current Walbro TR replacement pump at the center of the controversy.
I also run their pump wiring kit as it's the best I've found for our cars IMO.

I did the same thing and I also have an old Modern Musclecar pump in the other GN that is the same and its at least 10 years old. I put the Racetronix pump in my T type and its working just fine. I think most of the Walbros in question were the 307s. There is a ton of research on this. Good Luck

X2 The pumps are fine now as they fixed the problems they found.

Sorry but it was NOT the 307's it was the new latest greatest F20000169's that were failing.

I'm still running the F20000169 that I bought back in '05. There were a run of this particular model that were defective, but all is well now.:)

how fast you plan on going? very fast and youll need a double pumper. im skippin the double myself and going external with a magnafuel pump

How fast do I want to go? GN is pretty much stock other than shift kit, Lunati 200 cam, and flowmaster exhuast and I don't plan on getting too extreme. It's been sitting so I figured I may as well start w/new injectors and upgrade where I can now but don't plan on racing it regularly. Thanx for the input...I'll be contacting Mike @ Full Throttle next week.

You may want to consider our fuel pump kit which includes replacement in-tank wiring instead of using the Walbro in-line adapter. Much of the factory wiring is in poor condition because of age. Check out the features and construction quality of our harnesses!

Most of our injectors are flow-matched within 1% were other vendors use cryptic words like 'grouped' to imply that they are when in fact they are not.

Racetronix - High Impedance

Another option is a high-capacity external (in-line) pump made by a German manufacturer that supplies Mercedes, Porsche, etc. It is a 360 L/Hr screw-type positive displacement pump made by Pierburg. It is the "800" or p/n 7.00228.51.0 (AMG p/n A0014704994). Application is for the SL55 AMG. It outflows the Bosch 044 and about the same as the Aeromotive A1000, but for about $225. 95 gph at 45 psi and 70 gph at 75 psi, should be good for about 1000 hp.
