Use of an after market carb

I am putting a '79 Buick 3.8 turbo in a '28 Essex. Is there a after market carb that I can use? Thanks Dan dlmarx@bellsouth.net

if your willing to spend the money, any of holleys or Demons supercharger line carbs works great, anything 650 cfm or less.

will need an adapter to fit.

However, you can use a holley spread bore carb, just do the boost referencing mods and use a thick base gasket.

I am the perverbial FNG when it comes to a turbo. I bought a rebuilt '79 V-6 turbo for $600 with turbo and carb. the carb needs to be rebuilt, but I was hoping to eliminate all the vacumn lines with an aftermarket carb. I don't even knbow how to "do the boost referencing mods" you mentioned. L:ike I said, really a new guy!!! to this.

well i have been working on a write up of the boost referencing mod, but work has just been killing my free time.
