I posted here, because this is the one place people know what I am talking about. Don't want to confuse intercooled guys/gals.
Blew my tranny to high hell(and no money to throw at a rebuild) so, this is not what I want to do, but its the one way I can keep my car and actually have it running. Otherwise it would have to sit there.
I want to sell my V2 intake(powder coated) with modified stock 87 intercooler w/piping, 87 throttle body, tps and iac cable extensions, solid maf pipe, piping, spearco front mount with piping(yes you get two intercoolers that work great with this intake, not a complete spearco kit though, missing a couple pipes), S hose for water pump, 87 throttle cable, throttle cable bracket, vacuum block, one way valve, intercooler brackets, hose connector and hose clamps. You should have almost everything you need to put the intake and spearco FM on your car. Except intake gasket, vacuum lines, small stuff.

For everything I want $1600 firm shipped to your door in the 48 states(seems like a lot, but this intake/intercooler is bada$$ with only 2,500 miles on it and it will take more then one box to ship all this stuff).......will consider partial trades towards purchase, I need: bare hot air intake with thermostat housing($100 dollars towards purchase), & whatever I would need to run my ta49 into the stock intake.
Thanks, Nick.

I hate to seem so darn indecisive, but I am just going to keep all my V2 crap. My goal is to somehow save up the money for the tranny rebuild over the winter. Maybe go 350 tranny, if I get desperate. I was just out looking at the darn thing and I hate to take 10 steps back. I don't think anyone would have bit on this offer anyways. -Thanks, Nick.

Oh ya I wish we could DELETE a thread that we started as long as there was no replies yet

DUMB Question

umm newbie Question Here  ummm what makes this kit so special. Im assuming that its bolt on for a hot air..........or is fabrication required  how much would one of these cost new and where could i find one

Its a modified hot air intake that relocates the throttle body to after the turbo. It also allows you to run an intercooler with a little less piping then a spearco kit. This particular intake flow 230cfm per runner. (They say the intake kit is worth 100 hp.) I believe the stock intake flows 115 or so, I know it isn't much. They were built by Jay at turbomotion. He ony got to make around 24 of these intakes before his shop was vandilized. So, not to many were made. They do pop up on the board for sale, not very often though. New the V2 kit was $1300....some people payed for just the intake at a price of $900. From what I have read. The spearco kit goes new at $1200........mine spearco FM is not a complete kit so I was thinking it was worth about $400. Then add in all the nickel and dime stuff that was missing from my V2 kit when I got it. I thought my price was decent considering shipping charges and how many boxes it would have taken to ship it. -Nick.

We got one of the first V1 kits from Jay, he then called us to have it upgraded to the V2 set up. We sent it in and never got it back as his shop was broken into and everthing was trashed. I still have the intercooler, piping, and other Hot Air parts as well. I also have a 200r4 that was good when we pulled the engine, going with a CKP 400T with an ultra bell.
