V6 or V8 body for LS swap?

Wondering if there's any difference between the two for an LS swap? I'm going to keep my GN a GN. I figure I'll pick up a regal and convert it. Any regal years easier than others in terms of wiring, fuel tank, etc? Any difference in suspension?

it does not matter if your going ls1 because you have a lot of fab work to do.
