How's it going guys,
Last year I saw 3 GN's at the track that had converted to V8 engines. I was wondering if they could help me do this same conversion. I'm looking for the right motor mounts that can be used on my 86 GN. Any information would be great.
thanks Darren

Welcome Aboard

The three Buicks would be
Dean-TURBOD
Les-XFORDMAN
Paul--Hawaiian Turbo

Sorry, I don't know about your motor mount question but maybe you can PM these guys.

Borrowed Pics...

Just need the left and right SBC frame mounts...

I really appreciate it if you could find those part numbers.

Darren, the GM mounts are generic to all Gen I SBC powered vehicles from 73-98. Trucks, passenger cars, etc.

Competition Engineering or Moroso make a solid mount setup to replace the rubber "cage" and the cradle.

I have a set of the solid version I plan on using for my SS with the LT1 swap. I will try to snap a pic this week if you want to see. If you want, you can come up to the house (I'll be home Sunday) to take a look.

Paul has a exhaust manifold setup for the Turbo SBC in a G body for sale.

.

anyone attempted the swap yet in a regal or olds? what problems were encountered while putting it in? and did all the stock lines line up? such as fuel, tranny cooler lines? also if swapping a th350 in place of the 2004r what mods did you have to do? get a diff drive shaft and crossmember? or just move it?also did you need to change the speedo cable when converting?

sorry so many questions but these were the problems i thought of on the top of my head while i was pondering the swap.

also anyone have chevy motor mounts and frame mounts for sale?
