v8 swap

i know im gonna get trashed for asking but can anyone tell me where to get part #,s for an 87 MC such as motor mounts,rad, and so on for a v8 into my regal

i wouldnt trash you, as long as it wasnt a turbo-t or GN before . it should be a fairly straight foward swap.

The easiest way to do a swap like that is to find a donor MC. That way you get to see how everything is supposed to fit together, like where the wiring harness is supposed to lay, and you have all the little screws and brackets. Maybe find one in a junkyard with a smashed rear end?

trying to find a donor car from 84-87 would be near impossible-----they have already gone to the crushers anything under 1990.
I think im gonna get the zz4 crate engine the turnkey one and then order a rad and motor mounts for an MC and a 700r4 tranny from the local tranny shop thats been rebuilt with shift kit....shouldnt be too much trouble to figure out where the motor mounts should go....move the fuel lines-----seems like a shame i never thought of the swap befor i bought the edelbrock cam,lifters,intake,carb,timing chain for the 3.8........i just dont think its gonna make enough power for me.....Im in the middle of putting a paxton supercharger on our mustang right now on a blueprinted and balanced 5.0 so that should work good----time slips will tell the tale
