vac brakes

I just bought a vac brake setup after I put it on it doesnt seem to work right it stops decent but the pedal doesnt return fast it hangs up for a sec is there anything I can adj or is my master cyl bad

did you change the pedal to?( you need to)
look for push rod dragging on something,
make sure you have some free play in pushrod and master cyl.
