I think my powermaster went out on my 87 gn and converting to vacuum brakes this weekend. The brake light comes on now 80% of the time and then there are no brakes when the brake light is on. It seems like it started happening after I installed my line lock kit and broke the lines loose. I've already tried bleeding them again to get the air out. I have a used vacuum kit from a board member and was just wondering if there is anything to consider when removing or installing components. thanks in advance.

The hardest part is swapping the pedal out - take your seat out and get comfy laying under the dash with good lighting. It can be a pain to get the linkage from the master cylinder to clip on the pedal. Other than that, it is pretty easy.

I swapped out my steering shaft at the same time - really easy without a powermaster or vacuum brake system in the way.
