Help. I just recently put a vacuum brake system in my GN (that I bought from John D.) and I love it. But, the car is suffering one side effect. My car under normal acceleration wants to shift into 3rd way too early. And at times it seems like it sort of bogs down before it shifts. Do I have a bad PCV valve or a vacuum leak in a line some where or what? And if it is a PCV valve does mine screw directly into the block. I bought one today, but it's not threaded and I ran out of time to investigate the one on my car. I tied into my vacuum system just above the PCV valve with a Tee for the brake system. Thanks, Harvey Weir

PCV's don't screw into the block, they use a rubber grommet and the top hose pressure to normally hold them in place.

Should be a rolled edge on the new one larger diameter than the rest of the pipe into the PCV body that pops down through the grommet into the intake.

If you have steady vacuum on the car, use a gauge for testing, I doubt it's a vacuum leak causing any shift problems.

Unless you moved, bumped, or misadjusted the TV cable perhpaps during the installation.
