hey guys couple of questions. i got the kit from postons and they say for the brake pedal all i have to do is drill another hole 1 1/2 inches lower and it will bolt on just fine. my problem is i blew my back out and cant do the work any places on the windward side you think might do it?

Might be easier to just start with the regular vacuum brake pedal off any G-body. The yards are full of them and they are usually $10 or less depending how the guy is feeling. Keep the original pedal on the shelf with the powermaster in case someone gets the crazy notion to put it back in one day.

Cale: You used the same brake pedal from the powermaster unit? The part that clips on to the rod from the booster is in a slightly different location. Might work, might not. Affects the amount of force you need to apply to the brakes though.

Nope, I used the pedal that came with the conversion kit. I dont recall having to do any drilling though. I could be wrong (as usual). :p

Cale you did yourself? I'm interested in knowing what need to do this vacum conversion.

A master clylinder and vacuum booster from pretty much any G-body car.
-I think. :o :D Mine is from an N/A Regal. :)

The brake pedal that would work with it.

An aluminum vacuum block to provide a vacuum connection to the booster. (Kirban, Caspers, etc.). Alternatively, you can go the cheap route and buy a plastic tee and "T" into the PCV line.

Some vacuum hose.

Brake fluid.

I think that's about it....

"Red Regal T" like Jackson mentioned, sells the parts necessary to do the job. Check out the parts for sale section.

When you are ready to install it. Start off by removing the drivers seat- Unless you are skinny, or a contortionist, or both. (I am neither, by the way...:D).

Everything will bolt right in! :)

Jackson - yup, a friend and I did the install. Like Geoff said, everything will bolt right up. I needed a friend to help with the brake fluid, I hate that stuff. I am skinny, so I didn't need to remove the seat. :)

im in the middle of it doing it myself its a bitch! i cant get my hand up in there to get the pedal off it looks even harder to get the 4 bolts.ive even dropped the steering column and its ridiculous. i found a shop but they want 400 and 2 weeks thats crazy. any easy suggestions?

use a 20" extension bar on the four bolts. Then you can work from in front of the dash rather than your head under the dash. A pair of pliers should help you pull the clip so you can just knock it off or pry it off. Fifth bolt is on the top of the pedal under the dash. Steering column shouldn't be in the way of anything.
