I was wondering what is the best way to change the plasticc vacuum lines that run under the heating core?
Also, when I had my car worked on a while ago the mechanic thought it was a good Idea to unhook the vacuum canister. I forget what lines the canister hooked into.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Welcome

The off-center hose goes to the vacuum block on top of the throttle body.
It tees in at the first port on the driver's side,on firewall side.
The other hose I believe runs to the cruise control,on the driver's side fenderwell.
It's a vacuum cannister for the cruise control.

Not sure what other vacuum lines you're referring to by heater core. HTH :D

There are three plastic vacuum tubes. One plugs into the passenger side firewall sensors, and the others appear to be running underneith the heating core. I was told I would have to take off my dash to locate them and was wondering if there was an easier way.
thaks for the vacuum canister help

Near as I can tell
the 3 lines are:
map boost line.
above mentioned line to vacuum block.
other line goes to the heater control valve.

map boost line runs from under the turbo to the passenger fender well map sensor.

heater valve control runs from the valve to under the dash...think you can get to it without pulling the dash.
HTH
