I'm working on a friends 84 Grand National and I notice the plastic line coming form the MAP sensor on the right fender has been melted in two by the hot exhaust pipes at the turbo. I can't find where it originated. I've searched for some info on the web, but no luck. All I can find is copies of the diagram that's on the core support, and that doesn't mention anything besides what's part of the turbo system. I've looked everywhere for the other end of the line at the engine, but no luck. can anyone help me out?

Question ??? - Could a person run a line from the MAP Sensor OR Hobbs Switch to the front of the intake manifold next to the Temp Sensor (as shown) where there is a 1/8" NPT tap ???

He I show where I accessed the Intake for a Boost Gauge.

Of course you would still need to plug any vacuum leak in the back of the intake where the line is compromised.

yes but youd still need to get back there and cap off the Tee or youll have a vac leak

fyi the map sensor only runs the analog dash boost gauge, has no effect on engine operation but you still cant have vac leak
