I am currently looking at a 87 T-Type with about 10K miles, original owner car but it has the bench seat and column shift. I don't see many of these around and I was wondering what this car could sell for. It seems only cars with the GN interior(console shift) bring the big bucks. PS I am assuming this car is going to be in very good condition meaning its a garage queen. I am looking to buy and turn around and sell for a few bucks.

depends on color exterior and interior, options and if it has been well maintained. My guess based on the mileage, 17-19K, 17 for a not as popular color, 19 or more possibly depending on the color and options

I do know the color of the exterior is lite blue, don't know about the interior. The car is for sale for 11K... yes thats right $11k. Its a long way from my area but I am really thinking about dropping some coinage to fly out to see it. ;) And it was owned by an elderly gentleman(or at least thats how it sounded over the phone).

I'm sorry- What was that elderly gentleman's phone number again? ;)

The column shift and bench aren't real popular, but I think if I buy another turbo Buick it will have both. Let me know if you decide to pass on the car.

Somebody beat me to it!! Darn, now I have to start looking again. Oh well. :(

Probably looked like mine, but much nicer
I haven't seen many with the column shift and light blue, for 11k I would have jumped on the first flight out

BTW it most likely has the blue interior.

I have blue/grey interior with black ext.. I would love blue on the out side.
What color code blue is your T?

Dang, making me miss my 86 T with bench seat and column shift! Rust bucket of not, it was unique.

LOL Bandaid, I was hoping somebody on this board would have gotten the car. It was located in Michigan which is why I hesitated to get it(its hard to buy a car 940 miles away without at least seeing it). I have enough cars now(5) and the wife wasn't to happy with my plans, but she would've gotten over it....especially if I could have sold it for $16k. I just wanted to flip it anyway so someone got a good deal I guess!!!!
