Not sure of the deck height now and I am using stock 109 block ad stock push rods.

In that case I wonder if your new lifters are shorter than the original lifters.

Not sure heading to the speed shop tomorrow to pickup a pushrod tool to get a true measurement. I will have to pull the intake off and check the lifter link.

Lifter link? I thought you said you had stock lifters?

That's what I was told when I ordered the cam but I am going to pull them and at least check.

Well I ordered the adjustable push rod tool the check my length. I am on the fence in ordering a valve lenth micrometer or not. I am going to make some call and find out which one I need and see if I can find one to use.

I also don't trust the seat pressure on my springs so I will have them checked as well. I say this because there are no shims under the springs and I am pretty sure when the guy put them in he didn't check.
