Valve question?

I am in the process of ordering some Exhaust and intake valves from SI and salesman left me message and said he has some that have a flat face and some that have a dish face for the exhaust valves. Does it matter which ones or will it change area in the head and thus change the compression. He never said anything about the intake valves. I am putting these into ported stock heads. Which ones do I need?

The flat face will provide a little more compression. I opted for the flat face 1.745 intake and 1.5 exhaust. On the valve seat, use a standard 3 angle valve job, additionally, have add a 60 degree angle to the face of the valves, behind the standard 45 degree cut.
