My machine shop but seals on the exhaust side. They are not there from the factor. I have larger aftermarket ss valves. Is it normal to put seals on the exh side? Is there a benefiet or can it cause problems?

PROBLEMS!!!! when the exhaust valve gets hot, the seal holds onto it , and SLAM!

I talked to them today and they said they do not have the exh seals on them.
I could have sworn that when they where getting thermal barier coating on the chambers I saw seals on the exh?

does valve seizing occur real often when running seals on exh valve?

Thanks for the pointer Trbojo, it just so happens i did springs recently on my pig and I as well put seals on the exh as well.(I was told it didn't matter) So I'll be sure to pull them off this winter
when the motor is pulled out:D

it's a tip i got from dave hentz. i did springs this summer. as i said before, the exhaust valve gets much hotter than the intake,
