I need to replace my valve springs and I don't want to take the heads off. Does anyone have a link to the best valve spring tool for this job? I'm also worried about clearance in getting the tool on the spring on the passenger side rear. There's not alot of room where the A/C is in getting a bulky tool in there. Also, I think I have a bent push rod(light tapping sound coming from under valve covers). Where can a get a set of stock ones for a reasonable price.

Thanks for any help.

Thanks...I've got stock pushrods in it now. I'd like to upgrade though. I guess I should have asked, what would be a good upgrade from stock?

I've seen that spring compressor tool, but I'm just worried if it'll fit on the passenger side rear springs without the a/c box getting in the way of turning the knob. It looks kind of tight in there.

I used a turn knob style tool I bought from Napa. The knob pops off and you can use a wrench like when doing the back passanger one. As far as not taking the heads off just pull the spark plug and drop a rope in or shoot compressed air into the cylinder. HTH

Thanks. I've got the tool to compress the cyl with air. I've found a tool I think will work. Now I just need new pushrods... There's so much I need to do to this motor, I got an oil leak I can't seem to track down either I've replaced the oil pan gasket and front seal, I pressure washed the underside today so hopefully now I can just crawl under there and find the dirty spot...
