Vapor Canister Check Valve Question.

I'm replacing a few old vacuum lines here. That gray and black check valve that is part of the fuel vapor system...

Which way does it go? It sez VAC on it. The black end was towards the canister,the gray end towards the engine.

Is that correct?

Flow should go toward the engine and no flow toward canister

This one just sez VAC on it. No arrows to indicate flow.

Ugh..I'm trying to find out the same thing with the one on the EGR line. Good luck with your answer, hopefully it will clue me in for mine!

just try blowing thru it. Should not flow in one direction.

Sure enough,it was in right.

You know,it pays to give these cars a good look over now and then. Some of the vac lines slipped right off waaay too easily.

Zip tie them on, and do the blow test, I had 3 that wouldnt seal either way.
